For those of you that do not live in Chicago, congratulations.  The "Windy City" is in for some more wind coming from this Mayor's mouth and all the little cronies he has working for him.

The latest is the Olympics.  Any city that wins the bid for the Olympics must guarantee between 500 to 1 billion dollars to the Committee.  This is outrageous.

What is not known by the outside world is that the taxpayers of Chicago are already scrapped for cash.  The everyday working person barely has enough to get by on and now with the outrageous charges in gasoline (it's nearly $4.60 per gallon as of this writing), Daley is about ready to break the back of every working person in Chicago.

Gasoline, coupled with much higher food prices in Chicago and more increases down the road for corn and other essential items to sustain life, along with an increase in property tax by both the City of Chicago and Cook County - well, the few pennies we did have left over at the end of the week fall way short now and will literally drive people out of Chicago.

Does anyone in this administration have any common sense?  Is the first requisite for working for the City of Chicago being stupid or outright ignorant of financial facts surrounding peoples lives?

If you have friends in Chicago tell them not to vote for any incumbent - especially those that have been around for years.  The long they "served" the people (cough, cough, gag) the more they fell into Daley's Web of Deception!

The same is true at the State of Illinois level of government.  A former governor, Jim Thompson, wants Bush to pardon Ryan.  Well hell, if you can pardon Nixon, you can pardon anybody.  Personally, I feel that if they did the crime, they should serve the time.  Don't forget that these politicians don't serve their time in a regular jail like anyone else.  They have special jails for these sleaze bags.
